Service Times, directions, and what to expect upon your first visit to St. Matt's
Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your fist experience to St. Matt's a great one!
This summer, St. Matt's meets every Sunday and Wednesday, offering three unique services to choose from:
8:00am - Service of Holy Communion This service is from the Book of Common Prayer. This is a “said” service (no music) which follows the traditional language and style from the 1549 Book of Common Prayer.
10:00am - All Ages Worship A more relaxed service consisting of a simplified liturgy with prayers, readings, children’s story-time, family-friendly songs, prayers of the people, and communion experienced around the altar. After the shorter 40 minute liturgy and communion, the children and youth participate in their own programs while the adults hear the week's lesson. Each Sunday after the 9:30 and 11:00 am services, we have refreshments where all are welcome.
10:30 am - Service of Holy Communion A traditional service from the Book of Common Prayer followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.

St. Matthew’s belongs to the Anglican Church of Canada and as such is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. While we appreciate the perspectives and traditions of all religions, at St. Matthew’s we take special care to mine the riches of Anglican liturgy, theology, and Scriptural tradition.
