How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
(Romans10:14-15)
St. Matthew’s uses PowerPoint, microphones, and Zoom for most of its services. The Tech Team is in charge of running these programs. For those who are learning we start as a team of two and have a training session.
Four times a year, St. Matthew’s publishes a newsletter we call Matt’s Media. This contains a variety of material written by staff and members. If you would like to help by writing an article about an event at the church, a faith experience, or something you are wrestling with, we are happy to look at including it.
We are always looking for photos to use to enrich our communications materials. If you would like to be one of our consistent photographers, please let us know.
With so many special events at the church, we are always looking for people willing to put up posters around our neighborhood and in other areas to help promote our events.
Anyone is welcome to submit a personal faith message to our church office which will be posted on our website. This can be a personal story, a reflection, an experience, or more.
We meet four times a year to discuss current Parish issues and receive an update from our Wardens. All parishioners are welcome to attend. The meeting is chaired by our Parish priest and a volunteer. Minutes are recorded by our volunteer Secretary.
