Talents Auction
September 13 - November 3
St. Matthew’s first Talents Auction will take place after the Unity service on November 3.
What is a Talents Auction?
A talents auction features the many talents of parishioners.
During the event there will be food and performances, and each will take a set donation to start or be served.
There will also be donated items that can be purchased. In between performances, experiences (and anything else fitting) will be auctioned off.
What can be donated?
It’s all about sharing your talents!
We have so many extremely talented people in our congregation. Some are obvious like those playing instruments at the front. Some we enjoy often like our cooks and bakers. Some are in the background like our admin and wardens. I truly believe that God has given everyone something to share and build up the church.
Performances could include readings, musical performances, magic tricks, short dramas and more.
Items and services to donate could range from baked goods to event tickets, sharing a cottage, helping around the house or garden, teaching a new skill or sharing a hobby. Perhaps you paint, draw, sew, repair cars, or fix computers. Maybe you like to host meals, play cards, or could provide pet-sitting.
This is a great opportunity to share what God has given us.
