I was born in England and moved to Canada in 1989. I have been a member of St. Matthew’s since moving to Etobicoke with my husband in the early 1990s. We raised our 3 sons here, and I was actually baptized alongside our youngest son, making St. Matthew’s an important part of our family’s faith journey. Over the years, I have worn many hats within the parish, serving in the nursery, helping with Club Matt, supporting summer camps and social events; now working with youth ministry. I also volunteer at Dorothy Ley Hospice. My sons are now grown and leading amazing lives of their own. St. Matthew’s has been more than a church to me—it has been a family, offering friendship, support, and a place to grow in faith.
