Clothing Drive Thank You!
A huge thank you goes out to the Parish family, friends and neighbours who contributed to our Clothing Drive on Tuesday, December 1, for the Toronto Urban Native Ministry/ Holy Trinity Anglican Church downtown.
We delivered many, many large bags of warm clothing, footwear and blankets that were graciously welcomed by the staff. Large snowflakes were falling from the sky around the tent encampment and the many homeless gathered outside on Trinity Square that morning so our timing was perfect. Juxtaposed in that scene is the opulent Eaton Centre mere steps to the east.
How very fortunate and thankful we are for our homes, food and community.
